Chris-gave the treasury report. $3695.49 is the balance after checks for DCM, pizza at workshop practice, and grapevines.
Mike-gave DCM report about the Area 1 pre-conference. Our delegate is assigned to the Literature committee
Nick- Area 1 operating in a deficit. Discussed everyone talking to our groups about donating any extra surplus money to the area
David- gave a report on literature motions and reviews from the area
John-Gave grapevine report. Finally got the old GVs he ordered. Has been giving them and GV order forms out. Billy Wayne added that GV and La Vina sales are up across the board.
Old Business
Tony L has the pavilion reserved and flyers ready for our picnic on June 10
David said that the Welcome Home group in Eva got an aa # and is now a recognized group
David told us that he was able to get our district meeting schedules on the blue chair app.
Traditions workshop next Sunday 2-4 at the Link and please bring finger foods and desserts
New Business
David told us about all the information on our 12traditions.com site. It’s very popular and had over 12000 visits from multiple countries!!!
Mike talked to Rick L and Rick is going to step down as alt DCM until he gets better.
Nominated David to be interim Alt DCM until then or the end of this term. Tony made the motion. Alice 2nd. Motion passed
Mike- Could we host the Area 1 conference? Haven’t had one since Covid and the area committee is looking for a district to step up to host one. Lots of discussions. David made a motion that we be willing to help but not host the conference. Tony 2nd. Motion passed
We decided to sell tickets to the chili supper this year to raise more money.
Mike brought up the need for archives at the group and district levels. Needs volunteer to start an archives committee. We all said we would bring it up with our home groups.
