Help members connect personal recovery, group unity, and service through AA’s Three Legacies.
1728 Sponsorship brings together AA’s three sets of Twelve: the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of World Service. Since 12 × 12 × 12 equals 1728, the name represents a broader approach to sponsorship that includes Recovery, Unity, and Service.
This workshop uses a three-person panel to share what it is like to experience 1728 Sponsorship as both a sponsor and a sponsee. It emphasizes gradual learning rather than overwhelming newcomers.
